evaluations and exactly what services
may suit your needs from increasing usage of your intranet to teaching your team

eOffice
www.eoffice.net
was one of meleniak’s first clients. An AdWord campaign on Google was proving
highly successful and the project’s aim was to increase the conversion rate
of visitors to enquiries. In addition to a web site review and research with both
potential and existing customers, lightweight user testing was carried out. A
concise and ready to implement set of recommendations was then presented to the
client.
Marta was retained to work with eOffice and their design agency to rewrite
the copy, devise salient meta tags, restructure some pages, revise the navigation
and make some minor design changes to enhance accessibility, content effectiveness
and usability. The new site will be released in February 2003.

RAC plc
The redesign of breakdown cover sales online was initiated by Marta, RAC’s
former Head of User Interface. This ecommerce solution doubled their web based
revenue. Marta was with RAC for nearly three years, initially responsible for
marketing online, and now meleniak provides usability, web and intranet consultancy
to all companies in the RAC plc group.
Marta
managed how the new corporate identity affected the RAC branded company web sites.
Shown left is the business to business web site www.racbusiness.co.uk.
The new corporate identity had to work with the 600+ page content-managed consumer
site www.rac.co.uk which had
recently been completely redesigned by Marta’s team. The site now receives
in the region of 180,000 unique visits per week and over 60% are repeat visitors.
One of the key attractions is the route planner which was perfected through low-cost
internal user testing resulting in a substantial increase in traffic.

Zellweger Analytics
The
Zellweger Analytics web site pulled together seven international brands in various
areas of environmental monitoring. Visitors had various ways to find what they
wanted – link to a particular brand’s products, solutions by industry,
product types, search and contents list.
